Heading to the Olympics!

Jon is a Price College of Business senior majoring in management.

Jon has dreamed of being in the Olympics since he was 4 years old and started gymnastics. He spent his life preparing for this ultimate competition. After being a successful gymnast in high school in Houston, Jon chose to attend OU because of the great coaches, team and academics.  He said it was definitely the right choice for him. And while at OU, he helped the Sooners win three NCAA National Championships and completed his outstanding collegiate sport career with 18 All-America honors and six individual national titles along with the Nissen-Emery Award, given to the nation’s top male collegiate senior gymnast.

When asked recently why he majored in management, Jon said, “I’d like to open my own gym and teach kids and pass down my knowledge of the sport. I want to stay involved with the sport.”
