With excellent project management experience, outstanding organizational skills and advanced mentoring qualities, she offers an impressive background well suited to the out-of-the-classroom experience the center offers. Lopez holds a bachelor of arts degree in international relations from Mount Vernon College and a master of arts degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. She has studied abroad in Paris and worked in Boliva, Mexico, Colombia and Washington D.C. Lopez brings her extensive international background to the JCPenney Leadership Center. In her position at the World Bank, Lopez coordinated and supervised executive-level activities required for the financing of projects. “The JCPenney Leadership Associates are talented individuals with enormous potential for making a positive difference within Price College and on a state, national and international level. It is exciting to be a part of their preparation for the future,” Lopez said. “I hope to continue building on this already successful program through more involvement from alumni, increasing interaction among leadership students, faculty and staff and encouraging more international experiences including study abroad.” The JCPenney Leadership Center at the Price College of Business is a selective program that provides intellectually gifted and high-performing undergraduate business students with the opportunity to develop and increase their leadership potential through a variety of learning experiences and interaction with corporate and campus leaders. Many of these outstanding students are top level leaders in the various student organizations within Price College and throughout the OU community.
