In its first year, the Price College Honors Luncheon held on May 2 at Oklahoma Memorial Union was a huge success. More than 300 students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the college were on hand to congratulate the award winners. The presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Awards began the luncheon honoring Robert Beall of Colleyville, Texas, owner and president of Beall Investments Inc. and chairman of Price College’s board of directors; Terrye Dewey of New York City, owner of TLJ Resources LLC; Glen McLaughlin of Saratoga, Calif., retired CEO and president of Venture Leasing Association; David Moffett of Ameila Island, Fla., senior advisor to The Carlyle Group; and Robert Zinke of Tulsa, chairman, CEO and president of Zenergy Inc. Not only is Price College comprised of students and teachers, it also encompasses our alumni and friends. It is this collective community that serves as the basis of the outstanding educational experience received by our students. The accomplishments of those we recognize today are not only indicative of their participation in the Price College experience, but also serve as inspiration for others to follow” said Dean Kenneth Evans.
Ranked in the top 50 by both Forbes magazine and U.S. News and World Report for public universities, the Price College of Business is one of the nation’s premier business colleges.
