How to apply
The application deadline for Fall 2009 is September 15. Please use the following procedure to apply:
- Download the current application or come by the Leadership Office, Adams Hall, Suite 106 to pick one up.
- Check that you meet all the eligibility requirements listed on the application.
- Contact the Leadership Office with any questions 405-325-2501 or email us at JCPenney.Leadership.Center@ou.edu
- Compile all required information: application form, two letters of recommendation, two original essays, official copy of transcript and an academic degree audit, class and work schedules, one-page resume, list of scholarships, honors and awards, and activities and leadership positions.
- Submit completed application and supplemental documents.
- Sign up for interview time (tentative until confirmed by the Leadership Office) upon submission of application.
- Attend interview with interview committee at scheduled time (please arrive 10 minutes early for pictures) dressed in Business Professional attire.
- Notification of acceptance or non-admittance letters will be mailed.
- Once notified of acceptance, come by leadership office, Adams Hall suite 106 and sign up for New Member Orientation, pay $50 orientation fee, and submit the appropriate paperwork.
