Program description

The Management doctoral program at the Michael F. Price College of Business focuses on the strategic, managerial and organizational aspects of the management field.In addition, the program leverages knowledge and abilities of research faculty in the related marketing and Management Information Systems (MIS) doctoral programs.Applicants to the program are expected to have developed a firm understanding of management field including focuses on competence:organizational behavior, organizational theory, strategic management and international business.In addition, students receive rigorous training in basic and advanced statistics and research methodologies.

 

Most doctoral candidates are appointed to a research assistantship early in their program to encourage interaction with faculty members.In addition, many summer research opportunities are provided for students. The Management doctoral program is a full-time doctoral program aimed at preparing its graduates for academic careers at major research universities.
